my rationale on the stage play im assigned to direct..=p

to be presented early next month for my sub-course psychology..=p just hope prof. de la vega will appreciate the script i wrote.. hope so ",

a) I think I am able to direct this play. The script is fairly straight-forward, with stage directions and the backgrounds of important characters. All that I have to do is make sure the actors and actresses get what they're supposed to be doing, feeling, and showing on stage.

b) As far as John Lim, Sherman is able to play this part well, he just needs to change his voice tone. Elizabeth is a good character for Sam W., if she starts showing up more often for class. If not, Maja will work OK, but we'll have to work on it a bit. She has a slightly snobby voice when she talks, so I need to get her to sound more old-fashioned. I don't want her to sound like she's trying to give her opinion all the time. Janeka strikes me as a good Mary Warren, and she's easy to give constructive criticism to.

c) This play is easy to be staged, as this scene only takes place in the Proctors' kitchen/dining room. With no change of scenery, there will be no need for blackouts or moving around of props. Costumes will be easy - dresses, skirts, and suits will work fine. This is also a historical type of piece, not anything like a fantasy with ghosts or trips to outer space, so no special effects will be needed.
